Accreditation

Pastors and chaplains can apply to be accredited with the Open Baptists. Accreditation by the Open Baptists means that an accredited person is suitable for pastoral leadership roles in Baptist churches and other organisations. The accreditation guidelines below include an application form. 

The Open Baptists Committee for Ministry will accept applications from people who are accredited ministers with another Baptist association or union, or another Christian denomination. Anyone not in that category will need to submit a letter of less than five hundred words seeking approval to apply (see part 4 of the Guidelines for details). You should address applications to: Open Baptists Committee for Ministry. Emailed applications are preferred and can be sent to: cfm@openbaptists.org. Please attach documents in pdf or word format.
